Welcome arrangements, absences, health, collection, and communication with teachers: find information for families.

A respectful community

BSA’s handbook describes a community founded on curiosity, integrity, respect, and inclusion. It rejects discrimination, racism, and bullying. Any concerns should be brought to the team’s attention.

Admission, payments, and withdrawal

Enrolment documents specify fees, deadlines, and applicable conditions. If you plan to withdraw, notify administration in writing and consult your enrolment terms. A contact message alone does not change enrolment.

Reporting an absence or delay

Notify the school by phone or email before 08:00 when a child will be absent, as required by the parent handbook. For a missed exam or activity, discuss the next steps with the teacher.

Children’s arrival and departure

Tell administration who is authorised to drop off and collect your child. Leaving the campus requires prior authorisation. Classes finish at 12:00 on Fridays. Check supervision arrangements separately for your child’s programme.

Visitors and school life

The handbook asks visitors to report to reception, register, and wear a visitor badge. Book ahead to meet the team about admission.

Meals and family organisation

Consult the meal and uniform pages to prepare for the school day. Transport is provided by third-party companies, not directly by BSA. Ask about current conditions before enrolling your child in an additional service.

Health and important information

Provide necessary information through the channel specified by administration. The handbook requires up-to-date vaccinations and asks families to keep children with contagious illnesses at home. It requires a prescription for administering medication; discuss the procedure directly with the school. Do not rely on the contact form for illness or emergencies.

Safety and well-being

Promptly report any difficulty, incident, or concern about your child. The handbook describes notifying parents after an accident and child-protection procedures.

Following learning

Observations, assessments, and parent–teacher meetings support conversations about progress. Prepare questions and share information that can help the team support your child.

Reference documents

The published calendar, enrolment conditions, and communications from administration complement these guidelines. Ask for clarification if information does not fit your family’s situation.

Distinguishing classes, services, and visits

Classes finish at 12:00 on Fridays. Additional services have their own arrangements with administration. Admission visits use a separate calendar: appointments may be available after pupils leave. An available visit time therefore does not describe your child’s school hours.
