Elementary · Ages 6–12 · CP–CM2

Bilingual elementary: going further, from CP through CM2.

A bilingual pathway that deepens languages, mathematics, and science through projects, cooperation, and growing responsibilities.

Guided work in an elementary classroom

Languages: understanding and expression

In French and English, pupils read texts, discuss their meaning, and write stories or structured pieces. Grammar, vocabulary, and oral presentations support more precise expression.

Mathematics: reasoning step by step

Operations, fractions, geometry, measurement, and problem-solving build on earlier discoveries. Montessori tools and practical exercises help connect representations with reasoning.

Science: observing, questioning, experimenting

Biology, the environment, and introductory physics and chemistry are explored through observation, experiments, and projects. Pupils learn to ask questions and explain their findings.

History and geography: understanding our world

Studying cultures, local and world history, continents, and maps broadens children’s reference points. They connect places, events, and ways of life.

Arts, movement, and community life

Painting, drawing, modelling, music, and physical activities contribute to a balanced education. Cooperative games and group projects develop listening, empathy, and responsibility.

First digital tools

The published programme includes educational tools, word processing, guided online research, and the basics of coding. These activities connect to projects and responsible digital use.

Following progress

Regular observations and assessments help the team follow learning. Conversations with parents support continuity after CM2.

Learning to explain a method

Understanding a text, solving a problem, or presenting an experiment requires organising ideas. Projects and discussions in the programme make room for speaking, writing, and reasoning. Asking a child to explain their understanding can open a more specific family conversation about learning.

Preparing continuity after CM2

Following progress helps identify acquired skills and areas to develop. At the end of the pathway, discuss languages, study methods, and useful school documents with the team. This does not guarantee admission elsewhere; each institution has its own conditions.
